Watch: Israel shares video of Hezbollah tunnel in Lebanon with AK-47, iron doors

The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) on Tuesday released a video of a tunnel allegedly being used by members of Hezbollah in Lebanon, saying that it was “nothing like” the one built by Hamas in Gaza.
In the 96-minute-long video, an IDF member showed a “100-metre” tunnel in southern Lebanon and said, “… what Hezbollah has been doing in the villages of southern Lebanon embedding itself underneath civilian houses preparing for an October 7 style attack on Northern Israel,” an IDF member said in the video.
In the video, the IDF member showed different parts of the tunnel with iron doors, “functioning” rooms, AK-47 rifles, a bedroom, a bathroom, a storage room of generators, water tanks and vehicles.
The date and time of the video was not shared by the IDF in its post on X.

“INSIDE LOOK into a Hezbollah terrorist tunnel in southern Lebanon,” the IDF said while releasing the video on their X handle.
Israel has launched intense operations in Lebanon, targeting the Hezbollah hideouts after the Iran-backed group began launching missiles across Lebanon’s border in support of Hamas after its deadly attack on southern Israel triggered Israel’s military campaign on Gaza.
At least 2,309 people have been killed in Israeli attacks in Lebanon. According to the Lebanese government, the majority of people have been killed since late September when Israel expanded its military campaign.
In September this year, Israel killed Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in a “precision strike”. The Israeli Army claimed that it killed the 64-year-old powerful Islamist leader in the attack, what they called ‘Operation New Order’.
The Middle East has been witnessing a tumultuous security situation for nearly one year after Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on Israel, killing about 1,200 people and taking hostage over 200 others. The attack triggered the war in Gaza, which has killed over 41,000 people.
